  1. Turn off water supply to toilet cistern. Disconnect pipework and remove old valve from toilet cistern.
  2. Place flat neoprene washer on the threaded shank of valve and position valve in toilet cistern, passing threaded shank through hole in cistern. inlet2.gif - 6532 Bytes
  3. To adjust height of the valve, remove from toilet cistern and twist threaded shank in or out to valve body. The valve height should be adjusted so that the critical level mark (mark 'C.L') on the valve body is located at least 25mm (1 inch) above the overflow level in the tank.
  4. Position valve inside cistern and push down on the valve shank (not the upper black cap) while tightening locknut 1/2 a turn beyond hand tight. With correct washer in place reconnect water supply to valve. Tighten back nut with a spanner for about 1/4 turn (do not over tighten). Make sure float cup does not come into contact with wall of tank or syphon unit and that it moves up and down freely.

  6. Turn on water supply. Adjust water to desired level by squeezing clip adjuster together and moving float cup up or down along stainless steel link. Water level should be set approximately 25mm (1 inch) below overflow or to water line on cistern.
  7. Important: Ensure the line filter is fitted to the bottom of the inlet pipe before connecting the pipe work. Always clear any debris from water line to complete installation. Shut off water supply to toilet cistern. Remove upper cap assembly by rotating 1/8 turn counter clockwise and lifting off. Hold container over the top of uncapped valve to prevent splashing when the supply valve is turned on. Turn the water supply valve full on and off a few times to clear out any debris. Replace the upper cap assembly by engaging the lugs and rotating 1/8 turn clockwise to the stop. Make certain upper cap assembly is fully turned clockwise to the stop. Turn on water supply and cistern is ready to operate.
